Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Geona

Welcome to Geona. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Geona application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Cendrawasih Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Using Our Service

1.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

1.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

1.3 Age Restrictions

The Service is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. Persons under the age of 13 are not permitted to register for the Service. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

2. User Content

2.1 Content Responsibility

You retain ownership of any content that you post, upload, submit, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Service.

2.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to post User Content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or harmful to minors
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Contains personal or identifying information about another person without that person's explicit consent
  • Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right
  • Constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," or any other form of solicitation
  • Contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware

2.3 Zero Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content

Geona maintains a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content. Any content that violates our guidelines will be removed immediately, and users who post such content may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated without warning. We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, what constitutes objectionable content.

2.4 Content Moderation and Enforcement

We actively moderate all user-generated content and may:

  • Review content before or after it is published
  • Remove any content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate these Terms
  • Report illegal content or activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities
  • Use automated systems and human reviewers to monitor content

2.5 Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that you believe violates these Terms, please report it immediately through the app's reporting feature or by contacting us at report@geonaapp.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

3. Location-Based Services

3.1 Geolocation Data

Geona is a location-based service. We collect and process location data to provide features of our Service. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3.2 Location Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate location-based information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of location data displayed in the Service. Location data provided by the Service is for general informational purposes only and is not intended to be relied upon in situations where precise location information is needed.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network
  • Use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service
  • Attempt to access any content or area of the Service that you are not authorized to access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group of people
  • Create multiple accounts for disruptive or abusive purposes
  • Engage in any behavior that encourages or promotes content that violates these Terms

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms. Accounts that post objectionable content, engage in abusive behavior, or repeatedly violate our guidelines will be terminated. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
